How to Last Longer in Bed
Most guys wish they could last longer – bed room stamina is not something most of us are naturally gifted with. In fact, some studies indicate as many as 70% of adult males suffer from this problem. Get You’re Head Right to Last Longer
One of the biggest complaints women have is that men tend to be overly eager and rushed about getting into bed – it really isn’t too surprising that men don’t last longer with a mindset like that. Trust me, I realize that the excitement and anticipation of being with an attractive woman is not easy to deny. But jumping right into bed, and into action, can be counterproductive for a guy trying to learn how to last longer in bed. You need to cultivate the exact opposite mindset towards lovemaking – in fact, start thinking of it as sensual intimacy rather than just a mechanical “act”. Savor the experience, and focus on the pleasure of your lover more than on your own. Play with the concept of slowing down in bed – just mastering this mindset alone can help you last longer.
Breath Deep to Last Longer
Breathing, believe it or not, can be one of the most powerful tools we all have in gaining control over our lovemaking. Speficially, paying close attention to your breath, and conciously breathing deeply while in bed, is an effective strategy for lasting longer in bed.
The wisdom behind breath control goes way beyond lovemaking, and has it’s roots in ancient, eastern traditions like Yoga and Martial Arts. The concept behind these teachings is that we can control our minds and bodies, by controlling our breath. In my experience (in bed, as well as with my own practice of Martial Arts and Yoga) this is very true, and it can help you last longer.
The next time you are in bed with your lover, instead of focusing on the physical pleasure or psychological thrill of lovemaking, choose to focus your mind on deep, diaphragmatic (belly) breathing. This technique will give you better control over your body, and it will also help you to stay relaxed, another big key to lasting longer in bed.
Position Yourself for Results
Many guys jump right into the missionary or similar positions once they get into bed. Keep in mind, this may not be very helpful if you want to last longer. In fact, many guys find that switching with their partner allows them to be more relaxed, and less rushed. These of course are key points in training yourself to last longer.
And let’s not forget plain old gravity. Generally speaking, when your on the bottom, gravity works with you in helping to slow down the whole process, and ultimately helps you last longer.
Practice Makes Perfect
Another great technique that can help you to last longer is, well, getting some practice (yes, by yourself…) The goal being not simply to gain pleasure, but to gain control over your body. Start slow and steady, and avoid the mindset of eagerness as discussed above. Once you begin to approach the finish line – slow down, change the pressure, or simply stop. Once you feel in control again, continue where you left off. Try and do this for as long as you can reasonably do so each session.
Once you begin to experience greater control and begin to last longer – (bed , or by yourself) you can step things up by adding KY or something similar. This will generally heighten sensitivity to stimulation, and will prove more challenging to your staying power. Again, start slow and back off when impulses to finish approach to closely.
