Lasting longer in bed is one of those skills that just about every guy would like to get better at. Most of us are not born with the inate ability to contrl ejaculation at will. In fact, I would argue that we are probably hard wired not to last very long in the love making act, from a survival and procreation perspective.

But anyway, there may be a few natural born Casanovas, but for the most part, lasting longer in bed is a set of learned skills that we have to practice and work at, in order to get any good at it.

This set of skills as I call it involves both physical training, as well as mental. And as a foundation, good health, nutrition, and physical fitness (to a reasonable degree) all play a role in helping us guys last longer in bed.

Here a few pointers to help you on your way to becoming a longer lasting lover.

Tips to Last Longer in Bed

  1. Don’t obsess on ejaculating, and don’t obsess on not ejaculating. Either way, you ejaculate much faster if you do.
  2. Get plenty of water on a daily basis. This helps with overall health, and plays a big role in sexual health for men.
  3. Pace yourself. Keep a steady rhythm, and slow down when you feel yourself approaching the point of no return.
  4. Focus completely on what will feel good for your partner, instead of yourself. This will keep your mind off of your own ejaculation, and your partner will be grateful for your efforts (and likely will reciprocate.)
  5. Use deep abdominal breathing during sex, and focus on your breath, especially if you feel yourself approaching orgasm. This can help you delay ejaculation.

The more you practice these tips for lasting longer in bed, the better you’ll get at preventing premature ejaculation.
